About Dr Fran

Dr Fran is a consultant psychiatrist and neurodivergence-informed coach. She has guided hundreds of families through diagnosis and change with warmth, clarity, and practical insight. While she continues to practise psychiatry in other settings, this programme is delivered in a coaching format—practical, reflective, and intentionally outside the clinical model. It is a space to think clearly, ask better questions, and take the next right step.

FAQ

Is this group for children too?

Yes. While the core content is aimed at parents, families can include their children in the sessions whenever it feels helpful. Children may join or step out as needed, so the support can flex around each family’s comfort and routine.

Do I need a confirmed diagnosis for my child to join?

Not at all. If your child is going through assessment, or you’re just starting to explore ADHD, this programme will still support you.

Can I join if I live outside the UK?

Yes — sessions are online via Zoom. Time zone differences apply, but international parents are welcome.

Will this include medical advice?

No — this is not a medical service. Dr. Fran draws on her experience as a psychiatrist but will not offer diagnoses or prescribe medication in this group.

Bespoke Support Options

Not every question fits within a programme. If you’re looking for something more tailored, whether that’s support around a specific issue, a second opinion, or space to think with a clinician who understands complex mental health, bespoke options are available.

Sessions can be shaped around your goals, your capacity, and the format that feels most helpful.

“Dr Fran Evans is fantastic - very patient and allowed time for my daughter to open up and feel at ease. She explained things to my daughter in a way that she would understand and used analogies that were based on her interests. Fran explained the diagnosis and what that meant, in terms that we would all understand. Its really refreshing to feel that time was not an issue, and she made sure that all ofour questions were answered before the meeting came to an end. Thank you so much!!”

My daughter was tired and lacked motivation to join the meeting but Dr Evans was calm, clear, friendly and professional to ensure she got the information she needed to assess my daughter's symptoms and needs and advise accordingly.
Thank you once again for your invaluable support.

Not afraid to give a clear opinion about best strategy whilst also remaining respectful of our views and not
putting any pressure on us to take a certain path. Able to answer all queries and concerns and very reassuring. A perfect balance.
